    Alexis Alderete was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In 2011 Alexis began working for the Law Office of Ed Goldner as an intake specialist. She later became the client liaison/call center manager.

    Alexis joined Calfas Law Group in 2016 as an administrative assistant. In addition she was responsible for accounts receivable. Her hard work, focus and dedication have allowed her to gain extra responsibilities. Today, Alexis also provides the attorneys of Calfas Law Group with solid and reliable assistance. In her role as the firm's administrative and legal assistant she often serves as a client liaison between the firm and it's client, handles new-case intakes and maintains the firms day-to-day communication with the courts. She is reliable and has become one of the firm’s biggest assets.

  • Lisa Carl Lisa Carl

    Family Law Paralegal

    Lisa Carl is a Senior Family Law Paralegal with our firm who works under the supervision of Attorney Chase W. Butler. Originally from Cambridge, Wisconsin, Lisa moved to Cibolo, Texas in 2002 and started her family.

    Lisa has been working in the legal field for over 12 years, which has predominantly been spent handling family cases. Lisa's experience with family law cases range from simple uncontested divorces to more complex custody cases. Lisa's experience also expands to probate, criminal and civil litigation.
    Lisa's vast experience in family law over the years has given her the tools required to deal with clients on a practical and more realistic level, while still providing the patience and empathy that clients should expect from their legal team during some of the more difficult times in their lives.
    Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children.

  • Michelle Luera Michelle Luera

    Personal Injury Paralegal

    Michelle Luera is a San Antonio native. Michelle began her legal career at the Carlson Law Firm as an intake specialist in 2006. Michelle quickly gained responsibilities and began doing pre-litigation work. Michelle’s knowledge and dedication allowed her to obtain a job at The Law Office of Ed Goldner as a supervisor. Michelle’s department was responsible for preparing the cases for pre-litigation. Michelle was later promoted and became responsible for the litigation department. Michelle joined Calfas Law Group in 2016. Michelle’s 12-year extensive experience in personal injury cases has allowed her to gain the respect and trust of not only attorneys, but also our clients.

  • Jennifer Snyder Jennifer Snyder

    Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

    Jenny Snyder recently joined the Calfas Law Group team, bringing fourteen years' experience supporting attorneys with civil litigation, criminal case management and appellate matters in the Baltimore/Washington metro area, followed by general civil litigation supporting San Antonio corporate counsel at WellMed, then at Beldon Roofing Company. Born in Michigan to a military family, Jenny grew up in many areas and attended several schools. Jenny began high school at Judson High in San Antonio, where she first developed a deep love for the Alamo City and her people, then she graduated high school with honors in Ramstein, West Germany. In high school, Jenny assisted with the production and execution of a multi-national Science Exposition that toured European DoDDS facilities, and she was thrice published (poetry, painting and woven sculpture) in the Ramstein student anthology. Jenny earned her degree (on the Dean's List) in Paralegal Studies with Litigation concentration from ABA-accredited Anne Arundel College in Annapolis, Maryland after completing a first degree in Business Administration. Before coming home to Texas, Jenny successfully assisted a prominent Super Lawyer Plaintiff's firm and two notably prestigious Baltimore defense firms; Jenny also served as the Criminal Case Manager for the State's Attorney's office at the District Court of Maryland at the pleasure of Assistant State's Attorney M. Smith.

    Jenny strives to provide excellent service to our clients by consistently providing diligence, organization and timeliness in all tasks. Jenny and her family volunteer their time each weekend giving food and clothing to needy and homeless people through a prominent local charity, Dream Center San Antonio. Jenny's personal interests include sculpting, painting, poetry, singing, fishing, hunting and target shooting with handguns and rifles.
